Terrorists sometimes use innocent people as ‘mules’ to
transport
bombs from one location to another, often in
exchange for a small
reward. The places targeted include buses,
trains or crowed places,
usually during peak periods – resulting in
a lot of lives lost. So when
strangers approach you to place
a bag (or whatever) in a MRT station,
bus or bus interchanges, all you have to do is reject them without causing commotion and then report the person to the authorities. |
 |
| If you see an article deliberately left behind on a bus or train, do the following: first, ask yourself whether the article belongs to anyone. Next, do not move or touch the article, as you may accidentally trigger what could be a possible bomb. |

Report the suspicious item to the bus captain
